Periodically, we do thorough market research to identify tools available that suit our and our customers key requirements. Just as a hammer cannot be used for all DIY jobs, we too have different tools for different tasks. For instance, for a blog site, we use WordPress, and for a Wiki site we use MediaWiki.
For consultancy projects, we use IBM Rational Software Architect on WebSphere AS or Tomcat 6 for Java/JEE and Eclipse PDT on XAMPP for PHP/MySQL projects.

We can provide you with numerous templates to choose from, whether it is for brochure sites or Web 2.0 sites. But if you prefer, we can use templates given by you, provided we can integrate it into our tools. We can help you select templates from the internet that are compatible with our tools, but please do not go and purchase one without checking with us.

We host websites on our own web servers based in Maidenhead, UK. These are very reliable and secure servers that have uptime of 99.9%. Since these are our servers, we do not charge you additional for hosting. Hosting is free to you.

It takes us about a 3 to 4 working days to build a static site of any complexity, including hand-crafting search engine optimisations and submission to numerous search engines. Start counting from the day you provide us with all necessary data. i.e., website template, text, images, logos and payment.

It takes about 6-7 months for crawlers from various search engines to visit, index and propagate your site details across the internet. But once it is indexed, it will not take that long for the crawlers to re-index your site. Please be patient. And beware of charlatans.

Each Web 2.0 site is different and cost of designing a site can vary tremendously by features that you require. However, to give you a ball-park figure, it can start from as low as £500 for the first year and then £200 per year. But do not quote us on that.
